Portfolio Guarantee Scheme (PGS) is a business financing solution that is designed to support businesses in the wholesale and retail sectors by offering collateral-free loans.
This scheme provides businesses with flexible overdraft facilities, allowing them to access financing without the need for traditional collateral. With loan amount available up to USD200,000, PGS helps businesses manage their cash flow, expand operations, and achieve growth goals more easily.
This offer will be available until the allocated amount for this program is fully disbursed.
1. Business Type:
• Open to businesses in the wholesale and retail sectors.
• Businesses must have been in operation for at least 3 years.
• The business must be Cambodian-owned, with at least 51% local ownership.
• Registration with the Ministry of Commerce or appropriate authorities is required (e.g., patent tax or business permit).
2. Borrowing Relationship:
• Businesses must have a minimum of 1 year of borrowing history with Maybank, or
• A minimum of 1 year borrowing history with another financial institution and 2 years deposit relationship with at least USD 20,000 in deposits within the last 6 months.
3. Applicant's Age
The applicant must be between 20 and 70 years old at the point of application.
1. Loan amount: Up to USD200,000
2. Collateral-free: Loans that meet all the eligibility criteria under this scheme do not require collateral
3. Loan purpose: working capital and business expansion (e.g. purchasing equipment, furniture, or vehicles)
4. Facility type: overdraft facility with trade lines (e.g. Letters of Credit, Trade Receivables)
5. Tenure:
• Term loans: 2 to 7 years
• Overdraft facilities: Flexible, reviewed annually, and repayable on demand.
