The Rice Export Guarantee Scheme (REGS) aims to accommodate financing needs and address the challenges of rice exporters and millers facing a lack of collateral to pledge loans to financial institutions, especially during the harvest season. This scheme is in line with the aspirations of the Royal Government of Cambodia to export 1 Million ton of rice by 2025.

Benefits
- Maximum guaranteed loan amount of USD3,000,000 or equivalent per borrower
- Guaranteed tenure of 1 year from the loan approval date
- Collateral not required
- Credit Guarantee Corporation of Cambodia (CGCC) coverage guarantee of 80% of the loan amount, with a clean loan of 20% of the loan amount by Maybank
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be Cambodia Rice Federation's Members (Rice exporter or Rice miller)
- Cambodian-owned business (>50% shares by Cambodian or Cambodian entity)
- Have a business plan of milling or exporting at least 5,000 tons of rice by 2025
